Harry Montalvo Cuevas is bankESB’s community development specialist and mortgage originator based in our Northampton Street, Easthampton office. With his roots as a Latino from Puerto Rico, he has specialized in helping the Spanish market since joining our team 8 years ago. Harry works closely with customers from start to finish and helps first time homebuyers realize their goals of homeownership through a range of first-time homebuyer programs. He also participates with various non-profit agencies in teaching their programs for first-time homebuyers in Spanish. Harry loves working directly with customers to help them understand the importance of saving money and keeping a healthy credit score in order to help make their dream of buying a home a reality.

Harry earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and computer programming from the University of Puerto Rico and is very active in his new hometown of Holyoke. He currently is serving as the first Latino chairman of the board in the 100-year history of the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce and serves as treasurer of the Holyoke Health Center as well as commissioner of the Holyoke Historical Commission. In 2017, Harry was chosen as Volunteer of the Year by the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce.
